| What does Industry Internship (II) mean? |
|
The term Industry Internship (II) is related to on-field hands-on exposure (on an honorary basis) to IT service delivery wherein every eligible CMS Institute student gets an opportunity to work with a team of experts. The Industry Internship will be w.e.f. 1st April 2010.

| What are the eligibility criteria for the student to qualify for the Industry Internship (II) with CMS Info Systems Pvt. Ltd.? |

All the following parameters are applicable for the student to qualify for Industry Internship (II) :

The student must be a Graduate or a Diploma Holder from any leading University to join for the Industry Internship (II).

The student should have enrolled for any career track program on or after 1st April 2009.
Only those students who are successful & certified in any career program, as per standard CMS Institute Corporate Office Rules & Regulations and attend “S.P.E.E.D.” - A Skill Proficiency Expertise Etiquette Development Program can actually undergo the Industry Internship (II) with CMS Info Systems Pvt. Ltd. |

| What are the charges applicable for the Industry Internship (II)? |
|
All students who have enrolled for CCNS or CCSS can enroll for the Industry Internship (II) with CMS Info Systems Pvt. Ltd. by paying non-refundable Rs. 4,000/- as Industry Internship (II) Administrative Charges. The training centre shall issue a general fee receipt for the same from Web ABACUS. |

| What is the duration of Industry Internship (II) & where is it likely to be conducted? |
|
The duration of Industry Internship (II) is a maximum of 2 months which shall be decided based upon the technical capability and grasping power of the student concerned. The Industry Internship (II) with CMS Info Systems Pvt. Ltd. can be anywhere in India. |
| Is the student paid during the Industry Internship (II)? |
|
| The student shall be issued a Vendor Code by CMS Info Systems Pvt. Ltd. HRD and then shall be paid local conveyance on actual basis, during the Industry Internship (II). No other payment will be made to the student’s during the Industry Internship (II). Any incidental cost including the cost of travel, lodging and boarding for the outstation students shall be borne by the student only. CMS Info Systems Pvt. Ltd. shall reimburse the cost of local conveyance during Industry Internship (II), subject to submission of standard claim and authentication with approval from senior authorities. |
| What is the process to apply for Industry Internship (II)? |
|
The student must attend & pass “S.P.E.E.D.” - A Skill Proficiency Expertise Etiquette Development Program for career program students, as a free Industry Connect initiative. This program has been developed with CMS Info Systems Pvt. Ltd. - Field Engineering Division. The program combines critical technical & soft skills (with spoken English) in 24 working days wherein 15 days are dedicated to technical & 9 days for soft skills. The student will undergo a S.P.E.E.D. test and on meeting success with minimum 60% marks, the student is eligible to attempt the Final Examination. When the student achieves success in the Final Examination the student is eligible for the Industry Internship. The student must apply directly through email from his official mail id registered with the institute for the Industry Internship (II) by sending following details to Corporate Office Academics department on “academics@cms.com”: |

| Who will process the student request for Industry Internship (II)? |
The CMS Institute Academics department will send the request for Industry Internship (II) to CMS Institute Placement Head. The CMS Institute Placement Head will co-ordinate with the CMS Info Systems Pvt. Ltd. IT Services Head for the Industry Internship (II) deployment of the student. The location for Industry Internship (II) shall be decided by CMS Info Systems Pvt. Ltd. regional IT Service Delivery Manager. A list of locations will be provided in advance to the CMS Institute Placement Head. |
| How much time will the student take to get deployed for an Industry Internship (II)? |
The student will get deployed for an Industry Internship (II) maximum within 2 months from the date of receipt of application by the institute. |
| Is Industry Internship (II) mandatory for the student to avail of placements? |
No, Industry Internship (II) is optional for the student. The student can directly apply for on-job-training / placement opportunities through www.whitecollar.in without opting for Industry Internship (II). |
| What are the advantages for Industry Internship (II) to the student? |
The student gets exposure to the live work environment. The experience letter issued for the Industry Internship (II) increases the job opportunities of the student as the employer value live exposure to the industry. The student has better chances of getting absorbed in CMS Info Systems Pvt. Ltd. However, it’s not mandatory that the student is absorbed in CMS Info Systems Pvt. Ltd. post Industry Internship (II), as the skill, aptitude, attitude and performance of the student shall be monitored closely. |
