| Refund Policy |

Case 1 (Nil Attendance): |
| |
The student has not attended a single lecture at the Centre, after payment in full or part of the Course Fee with Service Tax, within 60 days from the date of registration or payment of Administrative Charges.
Under such circumstances: It is mandatory 1; no relevant batch has been launched, at any time slot, during the said period at the Centre for the Refund Application to be considered.
It is mandatory 2 ; that the student is not declared as dropout by the Centre, for the Refund Application to be considered.
It is mandatory 3 ; the claim for the refund can be made by the student within the 90 days from the date of registration, for the Refund Application to be considered.

Case 2 (Student’s Death): |
| |
There is an untimely demise of the student.
Under such circumstances: It is mandatory 1; that the student has not completed the course at the Centre.
It is mandatory 2; that the student is not declared as dropout by the Centre, for the Refund Application to be considered.
It is mandatory 3; the claim for the refund can be made by the student’s parents within the 90 days from the certified date of death, for the Refund Application to be considered.

Case 3 (Parent’s Death): |
| |
There is an untimely demise of the student’s parent, leading to financial constraint in paying the fee.
Under such circumstances :It is mandatory 1; the student must be able to prove that the parent who has expired is the only earning member in the family.
It is mandatory 2; that the student has not completed the course at the Centre.
It is mandatory 3; that the student is not declared as dropout by the Centre, for the Refund Application to be considered.
It is mandatory 4; the claim for the refund can be made by the student within the 90 days from the certified date of death, for the Refund Application to be considered.

Case 4 (Student’s Disability/Health Problems): |
| |
The student suffers from a physical or mental disability or health related problem which is certified by a practicing Medical Doctor, forcing discontinuity of the course for health reasons.
Under such circumstances:It is mandatory 1; that the student has not completed the course at the Centre.
It is mandatory 2; that the student is not declared as dropout by the Centre, for the Refund Application to be considered.
It is mandatory 3; the claim for the refund can be made by the student’s parents within the 30 days from the date of issuance of the medical certificate for the Refund Application to be considered. |

Case 5 (Parent’s Disability/Health Problems): |
| |
The student’s sole earning parent suffers from a physical or mental disability or health related problem, after course registration, which is certified by a practicing Medical Doctor, forcing discontinuity of the course for health reasons.
Under such circumstances: It is mandatory 1; that the student has not completed the course at the Centre.
It is mandatory 2; that the student is not declared as dropout by the Centre, for the Refund Application to be considered.
It is mandatory 3; the claim for the refund can be made by the student within the 30 days from the date of issuance of the medical certificate for the Refund Application to be considered |

Case 6 (Lack Of Understanding): |
| |
The student is unable to understand the curriculum taught in the centre.
Under such circumstances: It is mandatory 1; that the student is not declared as dropout by the Centre, for the Refund Application to be considered.
It is mandatory 2; the claim for the refund can be made by the student within the 8 hours of attending the first module.

Documents to be submitted as proof with respect to the above mentioned circumstances: |

Case 1: The photocopy of the 1st fee receipt issued to the student.
Case 2: Student’s Death certificate.
Case 3: Parent’s Death certificate.
Case 4: Medical certificate & medical reports - student.
Case 5: Medical certificate & medical reports - parent.
Case 6: The photocopy of the 1st fee receipt issued to the student. |

Conditions applicable: |

| 1 |
The Service Tax collected by CMS Institute will not be refunded. |
| 2 |
The Administrative Charges collected by CMS Institute will not be refunded. |
| 3 |
The Course Fee refund amount will be proportionate to the course completed by the student. |
| 4 |
The cost of courseware issued and global certification exams attempted will be adjusted while calculating the refund amount. The courseware once issued will not be taken back from the student. |
| 5 |
The student / parent will have to fill the “Refund Request Form” and submit the relevant documents as proof of the reason and submit the same to the centre. |
| 6 |
The centre will forward the request to the Area Manager / Territory Manager / Regional Manager for approval. |
| 7 |
The Area Manager / Territory Manager / Regional Manager will mention their recommendations and forward the request to Corporate Office Academics Department (academics@cms.com) with a copy marked to samina_pawar@cms.com. |
| 8 |
The Academics Department will seek approval from Operational Head and intimate Accounts department with a copy marked to MIS department to refund the amount calculated. |
| 9 |
The refund amount will be issued in the form of a Cheque in the name of the student or the parent and will be sent to the respective centre. |

The amount refunded back to the student will be deducted from the centre collection by MIS & Accounts Department. |
